I was about to give up looking for a non loop solution to this but fortunately I found your post.
I only use Part1 of your solution 'cause I need to find out next desired day but not in the same week.
Thanks

Daniel, the script is set to automatically answer Yes if there is no input after 10 seconds. That is part of the "choice" command (the /D option) in the batch file.

I had a customer where his servers disk space was all being used up by the IIS log files. Thanks for posting this idea for clearing up the log files, but I did find it strange that there wasn't a way that IIS could automatically clear out old log files to your requirements, like after 90days.

I have tons of IIS log files in customer’s space, especially at old customers. And I am so curious if deleting IIS log files are safe. Then I found out that that DNP and AWStats use these logs for bandwith calculation but it’s always safe to delete or archive logs older than 7 or 14 or 31 days as per your convenience.

Hi, Mario-

I've been using your stuff on a number of sites that I've built recently, and I just wanted to thank you and your commenters for helping me figure it all out. I don't know how I would have done it without you, so I really appreciate it. Since there's so much valuable material available online these days, I often am able to teach myself from reading sites, and I'm just happy to be able to leave a thank you message.

All best,
and thanks again,
James Frank, <a href="http://www.dehumidifierpro.com" rel="nofollow">Dehumidifier Reviews</a>
